My name is John Nelson. I develop software in Northeast Ohio, USA. Some important things to know about me: First and foremost, I am an Eagle Scout. I started college at 16, earned my associate’s degree at 17, my high school diploma at 18, and finally, my bachelor’s degree at 24. I started work on my master’s degree at 38. I spent 3 and a half years as an Apple Genius in Akron, OH, and for the past 12 years, I have been working for Davey Resource Group, Inc. in Kent, OH. I rarely do things the easy way, and my journey has been nothing resembling a straight line. My interests include technology, popular culture, gaming, and music. Welcome to my blog.
